Best Wishes to Joy Muriithi

Joy Muriithi from Dedan Kimathi University in Kenya was a guest at ZESS during the past months. She wrote her master’s thesis at ZESS as part of the Erasmus+ funded exchange programme KA171 International Credit Mobility (ICM) at Prof Thomas Seeger’s chair of Technical Thermodynamics (TTS).

The thesis was supervised by Dr Jonas Hölzer, postdoc at TTS. Her research topic was the measurement of the S-branch Raman line width using time-resolved coherent anti-Stokes Raman spectroscopy (CARS), which enables a significant improvement in temperature and species concentration measurement when investigating gas phase reactions.

Thanks for being with us and all the best to you, Joy!
