Women in Vision Lunch Club with Dr Christina Runkel (Oslo University)

Wed 1 April, 12.00 h in H-A 7106

Dr Christina Runkel will visit the Women in Vision Group in Siegen. Christina did her Masters in Computer Vision at the University of Siegen, wrote her Master’s thesis at the University of Cambridge, obtained a scholarship to do her PhD in Cambridge, and is now a postdoctoral researcher in Oslo.

Christina, who recently was featured on Her Maths Stories, will join a Women in Vision Lunch to talk about experiences in her academic career. To quote from Christina’s interview “some of the advice I would give to my 18-year-old self […] look out for networking opportunities and mentorship programmes; to find people who have chosen a similar path.” So if you have any questions or want to join Christina, please contact Jovita Lukasik (Jovita.Lukasik@uni-siegen.de) or Natacha Kuete Meli (Natacha.KueteMeli@uni-siegen.de)!
