Congratulations, Dr Patrick Müller (second from left), who succesfully defended his PhD thesis on Impact of Visual Range Optical Blur Aberrations on Deep Learning based Models for Image Classification and Object Detection!

The late Prof Dr Otmar Loffeld supervised the beginnings of Patrick’s PhD, so we are especially happy that with a postdoctoral scholarship at ZESS he is coming home so to speak, working within the DFG research unit Learning to Sense, researching the impact of lens aberrations on deep learning based models -welcome back Patrick!
