About GCPR/VMV
GCPR + VMV 2026 is Germany’s leading forum for advances in computer vision, machine learning, computer graphics, modeling, and visualization research. The German Conference on Pattern Recognition (GCPR) is the annual symposium of the German Association for Pattern Recognition (DAGM). It is the national venue for recent advances in image processing, pattern recognition, and computer vision and it follows the long tradition of the DAGM conference series, which has been renamed to GCPR in 2013 to reflect its increasing internationalisation. In 2026 in Siegen, the conference series will celebrate its 48th anniversary. The Symposium on Vision, Modeling, and Visualisation (VMV) will take place for the 31st time in 2026. It is the annual symposium of the German research community in computer graphics and visualisation, and it serves the annual gathering of the members of the “Fachbereich Graphische Datenverarbeitung” of the German “Gesellschaft für Informatik”.
