Best Paper Award at IWIS for Anna Lena Dreisbach

For the contribution entitled Usage of Electro-Mechanical Impedance Spectra for Structural Health Monitoring of Bolted Connections under Varying Temperatures, ZESS PhD student Anna Lena Dreisbach (with Prof Peter Kraemer and Prof. Claus-Peter Fritzen) made 3rd place at the Best Paper Awards at the 17th International Workshop on Impedance Spectroscopy (IWIS), which was held at Technical University Chemnitz from 24 to 27 September 2024.

Dr. Jan Söhlke is the head of communication and staff photographer at ZESS, as well as the Scientific Coordinator for the DFG Research Unit 'Learning to Sense' (FOR 5336).

Following his doctoral studies at LMU Munich, he moved into science communication and the visual documentation of research environments.
